Sruffy little car up date ... visited woolies of market deeping today .. managed to pick up some material for rear parcel shelf spot on match great prices to , also picked up felt runner for side window standard size appaerntly due to most cars use standard glass sizes guys very helpfull should sort out the crap looking rear and the windows. All being well floors be in soon woop woop
bloody car taking over my life at min ha oh well change in morning samba out from under its dust cover for service and mot next week

Scruffy little car up date ... 1 step forward 2 back this week windows s in window out in again then out ... couldnt get them to slide nice ended up knackering window winder arrrrr ... kicked next door dog and cat swore threw stuff had a brew slept for night , then sort of fixed it , somthing else t add to the everlenghting shoping list ..one bonus started floors pictures will be posted soon all being well .

you do know that there is adjustment on the winder mechanisms to get the glass to run parallel in the frame. Also you need to install the screw in the winder arm each time or you will knacker the winders. I had a wonderful time with mine when rebuilding. Make sure also that the pivots are in good order and that the helper springs are in the right way around, (helping lift the windows).

Thank sean ,mines a 65 build car with the early mec carnt see any adjusment on it ,only on the 4 mounting bolts , the mecs were in the bottom of the doors and windows fixed solid, one was broke with spring still in door bottom managed to fix that just seems to rise up a bit squif if you know what i mean had to clean all the rust of runners all tge springs are in place just seems a bit heath robbinson that it runs between the 2 plastic round things or am i missing somthing

You are not missing anything from the description. Its one of the jobs that I hated most. Adjustment is on the areas that join the two arms to the bit that slots into the window slider mech. PM me an email address and I will send you the section of the factory manual which details the widow adjustment.

Sruffy little car update ... floors nearly done another few days should see it done .. spending the nights reconstructing back parcel shelf , and door card , managed to strp both door cards down and use original material as for the the parcel self no chance rotten more than bob marlys underpants . This is going to have be new material bit gutted as iv managed to salavge nearly all of it but the sun has done its work and the lack of neglect .. on wards and up wards rying my hardest to get to stamford hall

Sruffy little car up date .. floors coming on fab lot more rust than we expected , gear shift tunnel a bit thin on some edges so having to do a lot of repairs , up and around brake peddle area , not 1 but 3 panels tacked over each other over the years , very interesting not ! . Throttle peddel welded to floor directly . Need to make new peddle strenghter peace that bolts to brake peddle assembly , if any body out there has any dimensions of this peace and the little bits that keep wooden boards in place cheers you lot for all the help

Sruffy little car up date .. ..help needed from you lot please , driver side front brake caliper seems to have a crack around dust cap rubber didnt see it until yesterday bloody mole eyes !,, what calipers do i have they got ate on side but reading there are two types want to buy the right one what the differance please , its problerbly be no good for trade in as it knackerd come on chaps enlighten me on this bloody car ha

Yep i be there ,mgt not not be road legel .. on a trailer .
problem is a Cracked front caliper managed to track one down , . So even it ant registered it be mot d , and be there , sorry for not replying to your email, regarding pass i try and get it sorrted tommorow

Good to hear you are making progress! Scruffy little car update .. making progress on floors usual problem reshaping panels to fit but got to admit they fit very good to be honest , off to visit max tommorrow to collect front ,left brake caliper as mine is shot .. also on look out for accelerater pedel as mine was welded to floor and seems half of its missing while im down in the smoke mgt pop round to 911 design see what they have to offer t, hope to too ctach up with you all next weekend hell or high water i be there
