Welcome. The 912 is a great car. Please update your location and let us know a little more about you and your car. Lots of experience on here. Always happy to help or point people in a good direction.

Thanks for the positve response ,my car was built on 2,/11/,65 vin number 453102 so i presume is a 66 seeing as it wasnt registerd till the 3 ,/66 got all early parts ,washer bottle in wing vin plate side of tank, bent gear stick , black dash , needs usual stuff it got a crappy yank paint job in the fantastic irish green , its been sat since 81 in florida , it needs 2 floor halfs which have rusted from in side out it needs tieding new carpet. etc have already changed all running gear parts eg track rod ends ball joints brakes , my plan is to get it road worthy and drive it , hopefully i will get to stamford hall all being well , funny it taken me 30 years to finaly get my dream car god knows why i messed around with scooters willys jeeps and old vw busses , every body need a porsche in your life .. ps when i work out how to navigate my way around i post some pictures so you can all have a ganders

Welcome to ddk and congrats on becoming a 912 owner, Irish green is such a great colour on an early 912 8)

Did you know the reason people buy 912s is to make people think they own a 911?
