Scruffy little car update ,,, spent the day cleaning 52 years of crap and oil off backend , up to my neck in gunk and degreaser . Managed to get swing arm on one side clean and back looking like one rear break stripped cleaned, gear box clean is not as id like it but getting there , not sure if to paint very thing or leave as is and wax oil it all , tommorrows job , new break lines and fuel line to put in , while under there noticed all rubber giters are shot so ha ho yet another job too do quite nice to look under there and see it clean.. so much easer to work on when it is

Re: New to 912 s
I realise that you may just have used `Copper` as a generic term BUT Do NOT use Copper for Brake Pipes - vibration will make it Work-Harden and eventually crackrear breaks rebuild new copper pipes
Use Cupro-nickel (NI) - Trade Name Kunifer
It is readably available from numerous suppliers, usually in 25mt coils
