Re: ABE Number - What does that mean?

Thanks Andy !

Yes - I was aware that they are available from Design911 - but finding a cheaper alternative is proving more of a challenge!

Might have to go on the Christmas pressie list!

ABE Number - What does that mean?

Good afternoon All - Apologies - this is more of a query for Impact Bumpers - but I am trying to source a steering wheel hub for an Atiwe CS-style steering wheel that I have for my 3-2 Carrera. The wheel came with a hub but it's not appropriate for my car. So if anyone has a spare hub for sale - the...

Re: 911 2.4 T (or E)

I am looking for a very high quality 2.4T in right or left hand drive preferably with sunroof and electric windows but would consider anything. Can you help? Thank you Mark Hi Mark - can't help you I'm afraid (unless you're looking for a nice 3-2 Carrera) but was just wondering if you have built an...

Re: Rear cage / roll bar

Afternoon Ralf - I fitted an ST-style half cage to my old car 2.2 (now sold) which was suplied by Chris Flavell of Fenn Lane Porsche. The cage they supply was by far the best value product on the market that I could find at the time. http://www.imptechnic.co.uk/porsche%20panels/index.html regards Se...

Re: 2.2s vs 2.4s

I ask because across Europe I've found cars for sale that seem of good provenence of both (mainly) 2.4s but also 2.2s targas. Can't pay to inspect them all so wanted some advice! Any other comments much appreciated. Thanks Hi Anthony - I'm sure you know this already but..... Ya really need to know ...

Re: 964 Backdate

Excellent news Ian re 2.2 - was it bought by a DDK-er ?? Hopefully it'll re-appear here at some point ! :) I'm very interested in your Thread re backdated 964s - I agree with Nige that the Paul Stephens 964 conversion doesn't work that well though. What about a monster 964 RS Lightweight rep of sort...

Re: Off topic: mortgage stupidity!!!

Better start doing the lottery... I was offered a ticket in a garage last night when paying for fuel (I never buy them) and maybe it was due to my concerns over my own mortgage application that I said yes! Thanks for the reminder - will go check how much I've won.... :) You didn't win - you d...

Re: Off topic: mortgage stupidity!!!

It's maddening huh ?! We're simply trying to consolidate a small loan into our mortgage with Santander - it's like we're trying to borrow money for one of those silly overpriced bubble-bursting 73 RS-thingys !! :) Seriously though - it those feel like lending criteria and controls are tightening up ...
