refurbishing Porsche Gasburners (magnesium)

Hi,

Got a 5th spare Gasburner that I want to get refurbished and detailed, but because they are forged in magnesium, will I need to go to a specialist to get this done? Tips or recommendations anyone?

Have spoke to Rainbow Polishing and Cecil was a bit warey of doing them, but said he would need to have a look at the wheel first to see if it would 'spark' first before deciding whether or not he would risk it!
