Hi,

I’ve just started researching it. Car was originally bought from Manhattan Porsche by a clothing designer. It then spent time in Connecticut and San Fran before being shipped over to Bahrain where it spent circa 13 years and went through a full restoration. Owner then relocated to Surrey and brought the car with him. In the last 6 months or so it’s had a complete new floor, suspension and braking system installed.

All in all it’s in amazing condition

Silver grille and gold letters are interesting on a '72 - should be black/ gunmetal grey respectively ('70-'71 had silver) but if you like how it was restored & delivered, no problem!

Yes I’m not 100% sure about the silver grille and know originally it was black with black lettering. I’ll probably look to change the grille back to black at some point but I’m a sucker for the gold lettering so that’s going to stay!

Sounds like you've done your research already - well done! The used grilles fade to a really lovely purple colour so if you can find one with the 2.4 badge attached (Matt at Tuthill Secondhand Parts has good selection and check out Silver911SC on here too - he has some nice parts for sale at the moment) that would be a good move
