Parts list for the DDK swapmeet - more parts added

Post by KS »

I'll gradually make a list of parts I'm taking to the swapmeet on October 31st. I'll try to add photos as and when I can, but until then here's a list of parts I know I'll have there...

Pair Weber 44IDF carburettors, rebuilt in the USA by Gary Berg (son of the legendary Gene Berg), currently with 32mm venturis, but supplied with 30 and 34s, too. £500 pair (won't be at swap meet - still on car!)
914 rear bulkhead pad – black vinyl from my 1975 car. No rips or tears. £offers
914 centre console complete with gauges (clock, oil temp, voltmeter), and with arm rest. £SOLD
914 1.8 cylinder heads, 42 x 36 valves, with WebCam hi-rev single springs – c.4000 miles from new. From my 130bhp 2056cc motor. £Provisionally Sold
914 71mm AA forged chrome-moly counterweighted crankshaft. 2.0-litre journals. c.4000 mile from new (gives 2056cc with 96mm pistons/cylinders). £400
Original 914 steel spare wheel ('GT' style) with tyre. Painted silver and in great condition. £offers
Cibié iode spot (driving) lights, yellow lenses with Cibié wiring kit. New old stock with covers. Perfect for your 914/6 GT or period 911 hotrod. £200 pair
Woodrim LeCarra steering wheel with boss to suit early 911/912. £offers
Momo 'Classic' steering wheel. Great condition 360mm diameter to outside of rim. £90 less boss
New in box black STR four-point harness, cam-lock buckle. With mounting hardware. Dated 2020 - fine for hillclimb or trackday. £offers
Load of posters etc...

More to come...

Blaupunkt Milan radio - perfect working order, with original wiring socket etc. I've used it for the last year after buying it from a dealer.
Original 914 speaker enclosures, now fitted with modern Pioneer speakers. These are hard to find in good order – better than cutting up door panels!
One mounting has been repaired, others reinforced to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Radio cost me £100, so how about £90 all in.

'Green' 911 cooling shroud - faded and a slight crack. £offers
Sundry pieces of 911 cooling tinware £offers
Flapper box from my 2.7 MFI Carrera £offers
Incomplete set of ARP engine case studs/nuts/washers - all new and unused. £offers
901 flywheel - surface rust only. £offers

New unused Dansk/VDO 914 oil temp gauge (made to corrcet diameter for 914 console NOT the smaller 52mm diameter). £offers
New unused VDO 'Vision' oil pressure gauge 0-5bar £offers

New Vintage Speed stainless steel silencer for 914 – was made with correct dimensions to fit a 914 with SSIs or 2.0-litre heaters, but the mounting flanges are those to suit a 1.7 or 1.8! Needs the flanges chopping off and correct ones welded in place. (NB - won't fit onto a 1.7 or 1.8 as the width is wrong...). The silencers sell for over £500 each, so make me an offer and grab a bargain.

Basically, whatever I bring (and there are loads of odds and ends) all has to go, so don't be shy!

Just loaded the car as it's not raining - found new early 911 gasket set, plus tons of other gaskets (inlet and exhaust), valve guide seals, header nuts, crankshaft oil seals etc etc all NOS and open to reasonable offers.

Camchain boxes/covers etc...

Also, boxed original bearing set for 30-horse VW engine, which I'm guessing is the same for early two-piece case 356 engine. These are in their original blue VW packaging and acquired from long-closed dealer in Sweden.

Everything must go!

Unfortunately not. I live too far away.

You can answer after the swap meet if it doesn't sell. There's no problem.
