All good things have to come to an end and all that. It's something I've been thinking about since Christmas and I think now is the time. Maybe not the most sensible move given that the 997 Turbo has just appeared as one of the top investment opportunities in 2019 based on Classic Cars recent guide. But time will tell.
I've used the car every day for the last 2+ years and it has never missed a beat. That expensive (£2300) comprehensive 3 year warranty feels like a bit of a waste of money now and there is still 11 month to pass on to any new owner giving 100% peace of mind.
There is nothing this car doesn't do well and has regularly been seen down the local Morrisons car park as well as touring Europe and wknds away averaging nearly 23mpg on mixed driving while it does it with a superb HiFi system and supper comfort. The only thing I regret is never taking it on track to see what it is like.
Bye Bye my love

Being one of the last Gen1 997s (referred to as Gen 1.5 or Gen 1 plus) it benefits from having the most comprehensive list of optional factory extras possible (just look below) and updated interior as found in the Gen 2 cars and the last to be fitted with the bullet proof Mezger Engine mated to the Tiptronic box making it a very robust power train. These models were only built for around 9 months making them quite rare and a great investment opportunity.
Looking for £54k and comes with brand new front discs and pads and very recent front tyres. I also have a spare set of rear tyres (not included as the fitted rears have plenty of tread - but you could have if you want them. I think you'd find it hard to find a better one and the transferrable warranty which still has a year to run has to be worth >£1000 and is included in the price. So car is really up for about £52.5k as it is + new spare front discs and pads, lots of miles to run to next service, Mot until July 2019, plus comprehensive transferrable warranty until Jan 2019 = £54k total. I'll leave it on here for 24hrs before I list anywhere else jic.
