2001 Audi A6 Quattro Avant 2.7TT for quick sale

Unfortunately a very close friend of mine was killed earlier in the year in a motorcycle accident - we’re just starting to sort things out on behalf of his family, which includes selling his car. Please note - the family are not desperate for the money, but his wife is understandably fed up with seeing it on the driveway
I’m offering it for sale here a few days before it goes on eBay in case any DDK’ers are interested - I do not know a lot about this car, and I don’t know a lot about Audi’s either, the contents of the advert are what I’ve gleaned from looking around it for 45min and driving it across town yesterday. I will answer any questions as best I can

So the car is an Audi A6 Quattro Estate, with the bi-turbo v6 engine. I believe this is basically a detuned S4 engine. This has been remapped to 300bhp for economy / drive ability rather than outright performance - it drives very well and the traction is very nice with the 4WD system. It’s an automatic which shifts great
Everything appears to work - no warnings on the dash
The stock radio has been replaced with an integrated nav / media centre system which is wired to the Bose amplifier/speakers
In the boot there are the option 6th/7th seats making this a perfect car for a family - or remove them and use it as a dog waggon / load lugger
Outside the car seems very straight - no dents, dings or scrapes, no rust that I can see anywhere. The roof rails have additional cross bars fitted which Alex used to transport his racing bikes and mountain bikes
Inside the seats are all in good condition - the drivers seat is a little baggy as you’d probably expect with the age / mileage but no splits or tears
The car has the standard wheels in good condition - front tyres are around 3-4mm and the rears 4-5mm. Brakes have been done fairly recently, discs are in decent condition, looks like one maybe two calipers have been replaced recently. There’s also a fairly hefty bill for things like water pump, etc which I think are the things that normally need doing so looks like that side of things is in reasonable shape
Overall the car seems really nice - to be honest if it wasn’t for the fact I’ve just ordered a new daily I’d probably keep it myself and run it as a tow car / dog wagon / winter commuter
The MOT runs until feb next year - no advisories last year, can’t see any obvious reasons it would not pass this time around too. Under new rules there no tax, however it’s pre the new tax rules so not too crazy to tax
I have some service history but it’s mostly recent stuff, although it comes with all the original pouches/papers so those documents are with the car. The v5 is in the wife’s name and ready to be sold BUT the sale will be handled by either me or a mutual friend (who’s house the car is currently at) as she doesn’t really want to be involved
I’ve struggled to price the car - there aren’t many in this spec / engine particularly the estate version. There’s a shagged 1.8t on eBay and a few Allrads which are between 1000 and 3000
For a quick sale (hopefully) I’m going to call it £1250, but will listen to any sensible offers
