I've a '73 914 1.7 and a sweet Carrera 3.2 engine that's destined to power it. I'm completely new to 914's although I've previously backdated a 3.2 Carrera to a Singer Inspired RSR widebody and I've spent the last few years slowly building up a 944 Turbo from a £1000 ebay basket case; now widebodied and pulling 340hp. I'm not a mechanic nor particularly knowledgeable about the intricacies of Stuttgarts finest but I love tinkering, driving and building in a style that I like...so apologies upfront to any purists.
I'm assuming I'll need lean on your knowledge base a good amount to get where I'm going with the 914; no idea how long its going to take but as and when I'll post any questions and updates
