1967 912 LHD for sale

I’m shipping across from Canada next month to the U.K. a LHD 1967 SWB 912.

Silver (originally white), COA, matching numbers in original condition. I’d describe as a good “driver” condition. Not restored, but has had transmission rebuilt, front suspension (including shocks), front pan replaced, front brakes and discs, seats, carpet and headliner. A 6/10 car. Very presentable, but would not win concours competitions. A car to drive and enjoy, while doing a rolling restoration - or just leave as is and drive it.

Work needed to pass MOT will be two small patches to both foot wells (no holes, but metal flexing), rear shocks and rev counter does not operate. Everything else looks good to me. Engine runs well, gears work and stops. No structural corrosion - solid car.

5 dial, 4 speed and 14” Fuchs wheels, wooded 356 steering wheel. Nice original dash, door pads, seats, glove box etc. Scores high on the originality scale.

Ex-California car, was garaged for 11 years. Serviced then in 2005. I will collect the car from Southampton, duty paid - and get it up to Coventry. Any buyers can either buy it ‘as is’ in Coventry - or I’ll get the work done (estimate £500), MOT and V5 and then sell. I have some photos of the car I can email - with more being taken next week in Toronto.

I’m looking for £36,500 for the car - £35,000 without the MOT. This seems to me a fair price for a car to turn the key and enjoy. If interested, before I clean it up and offer for general sale, please drop me a pm. I’m sure someone on this site may be interested in a pretty and genuine old 912.
