Re: 914/6 Replica
Made an enquiry yesterday Steve.
Stressed fibreglass arches have recently been sorted. Would be better in steel.
Follow up email blanked.
Regards
Mike

914/6 Replica
Looks like very good value from the description
The engine is the best element. More detail invoices and pics from the builder needed of course.
I'd want to know what brakes are fitted, you need decent stopping ability with all that power and additional weight of a six.
Has it had a 914-6 oil tank fitted?
What kind of cooler is in the front? The shroud is not period correct, but looks like it does the job?
The lower front shroud is not cut to allow airflow to the cooler.
Has it had GT reinforcing kit welded in? Plates on chassis and rear trailing arms.
It is a shame the flares are plastic. They won't last. Steel flares are £1200, plus fit and paint.
I think the rear lower valence may be for narrow body car.
They moved the battery? Clear photos of the hell hole please.
If this car had come up 2 years ago, and if it passes a local PPI, I would have bought it...
There's no way you could build one for that price. ;

Re: 914/6 Replica
It's a great looking car, great spec (like yours James)...and I'll only be down the road from there (a long road) in Idaho this week....tempted (or maybe just dreaming)
