general parts query

Post by Adrian3 »

i'm learning that it really pays to shop around...e.g. fuel tanks, dampers etc much cheaper direct from German or generalist outlets.
Do people get Elephant Racing parts anywhere but direct from ER?

Some prices seem crazy in UK....e.g. balljoint installation tool (castle socket) for £135!

Has anyone any experience with the balljoints from tangerine 911 on ebay...so much cheaper than OE.

Hi Adrian,

I've also got a 69 that i brought over from the Us a couple of years ago, Great fun !

I've used Tangerine911 on ebay for several bits and they've always been really helpful on email and the parts arrive in few days. Not had any ball joints off them though.

cheers

Rosepassion, eBay, and visits to the US (Pelican etc).

Otherwise, you're paying for the convenience of the item being in-stock, in the UK, which is sometimes worth paying for.
