Ferry Man’s Pre-Ferry BBQ (CLM - Portsmouth/Caen crossing)

Post by Ferry Man »

If anyone would like to join their DDK colleagues before embarking on the Portsmouth-Caen overnight ferry crossing then kindly consider starting your evening a little earlier on Wednesday 6th July.
I'm hosting a Classic Le Mans BBQ at my house. You are all cordially invited.

It's a straighforward drive down the A3 to Portsmouth and we'll set out in good time to ensure we are all at the docks well ahead of departure
Even those not travelling with us – but local – are welcome to come to the BBQ and enjoy the fabulous weather and grub. You can wave us off.

If you’re interested in attending kindly PM or text me and I’ll let you know the address details and instructions how to find the party venue. I live on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey.
My mobile: 07813 791650.
Kindly keep this content within the Members Section but do feel free to invite anyone else of good character who might not have access to the members area of the forum. If they are travelling on that ferry crossing, they are welcome to join us.

See you then. Paul.

Sadly won't be able to make your bbq this year Paul - as taking a different crossing. Hope to see you at the event somewhere. Have a nice barbeque

Brittany Ferries depart Portsmouth at 10.00pm that evening.
My house is less than an hours drive from the docks.
So, we will leave - in convoy - from my home at 7.30pm-ish.

Lets say the BBQ will be at 6.00pm.
Feel free to arrive anytime after 3.00pm and settle into a lounger on the back lawn.

Cheers, Paul.

Hi Paul, thanks for the kind offer but I've got a hectic week before we head over on Friday, so unfortunately can't join you. Have a great evening

It's a little out of my way (Lostwithiel to Crondall and back to Plymouth for 10 o'clock ferry), so have fun and see you on the other side! :)
