Eventually got the Master Cylinder and pedal box off. I didn't expect it to be easy, neither did I expect it to be so b****y difficult!
Anyway, I am not too happy with the fluid lines from the reservoir to the Master cylinder, which have some external corrosion. They are in several pieces linked by flexible pipes with a shoulder at one end for the flex pipe and a 'Top Hat' type termination at the other end which sits inside a rubber grommet.
Are these types of pipe generic or are they Porsche one off's please?
Thanks,
Bob

Bob
I've just replaced my master cylinder and the pipes up to the reservoir on mine were clear plastic head to toe, with no joining pieces. I can't imagine that this spec of clear plastic pipe is specific to Porsche (did I really say that?) and maybe you could go down the same route.
Whilst I didn't have a problem getting my old master cylinder out, putting the reservoir feeds back in was a real PITA until I realiased that the easy way was to seat the supply pipes with the unit on the ground, then offer the master cylinder back up to the bulkhead.
Good luck.

Thanks Ian.
All plastic pipe doesn't sound like an original spec although I appreciate that there is no pressure on the feed lines. However; the feeds into the Master Cylinder are a pressure fit into rubber grommets (hence the 'Top Hat' ends to the metal feed lines). That sounds like a problem with plastic lines?

Oops - sorry Bob - I do have short metal pipes with flares on them at the bottom end to fit in the master cylinder
. These are the little bu99ers that took so much effort to get into the m/c when I replaced the cylinder.
The rest of the pipe (from below bulkhead right through to the reservoir) is however plastic.
Apologies for any confusion.
