1966 interior door handle/arm rest

Post by delkel »

Hi guys

I have 2 of what I think are the correct door handles. Little button on the end you push to open, they are not on the car and when offered up the screw holes don't match up with screw holes on door!!! I do have the nipple on the door opening mechanism that the little rod clips onto so it looks like they are the correct doors.
Do the doors change from year to year depending on door handle/arm rest?
Is there a bracket that goes onto door that the handle goes onto?

Not in a great rush to sort this but it would be great to know

Thanks

You might have more luck if you post in the 911 section too since these bits are common to both cars. I think a 66 and I suspect that they may be different.

Not sure of changes but my 12 is a late 66 build with the original handles so could take some measurements of screw hole centres etc if it helps?
