oil canister bolt

Post by Ghawke67 »

Hello All,
I have managed to misplace the oil canister bolt during my rebuild and I have tried everyone to get a replacement.
My car is a 67 with a silver coloured canister. The bolt size is a very unusual M11x 1.25 bolt.
If anyone can help please get in touch.

Many thanks

Gary

There are 6 - Different Canisters

and

9 - Different Bolts

Best to look for a complete canister

Correction

There are 12 - Different Filter Cans

Note also that the Seal that comes with the can is OFTEN too large

It depends on what top you have as to whether you can do anything about it without buying the correct gasket

Yes! - there are different tops also

No one said it would be easy

Have you tried Max at Revival?
