DDK Grille Badges - new batch just manufactured
Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in obtaining a DDK grille badge.
I’m delighted to confirm that I’ve produced a new batch and those are now ready for despatch.
Please do understand that these are club badges and you’d be a little mischievous if you were not a paid-up member of this esteemed institution.
Kindly do the right thing and also pay your subs to Tom.
The yearly fee is very modest but it helps keep the forum running. And we all want that.
The badges cost £39 each + £5 for next-day delivery. A total of £44.

Re: DDK Grille Badges - new batch just manufactured
You can pay for the badges by PayPal to the following email address:
prmadden 'at' btinternet dot com (you can work out how that should be typed)
If you cannot settle by PayPal then please PM me and we’ll sort out payment by cheque.
Kindly indicate along with payment your name & delivery address and your forum name.
UK deliveries will be sent via CityLink next-day courier service and will require a signature.
It may help to indicate a work address (where someone will be there to accept) or, if you wish, I can send by straightforward Royal Mail post (but then won’t be able to track the consignment in case of any difficulties).
If you order from overseas you can expect the same delivery price but certainly not a next-day service, the badge will be sent by snail mail.

Re: DDK Grille Badges - new batch just manufactured
There’s been a pent-up demand for badges and many people have previously expressed and interest in buying.
Therefore I will offer this batch to the people named below first.
If you’re listed you are not obliged to buy but kindly let me know if you’ve changed your mind.
I will attempt to clear this list before selling any remaining badges.
However there are only 30 badges available and by my reckoning we’re already close to clearing out supplies.
If you would like a DDK grille badge can you please confirm in this thread.
If you're new to this list then kindly be patient until I see what I've got left.

Re: DDK Grille Badges - new batch just manufactured
As an aside I am shortly announcing a Classic Le Mans 2014 Special Edition Grille Badge.
If you choose to also purchase one of those I can batch your order (and you only pay one carriage charge).
Kindly do not request a CLM badge in this thread. Please await the other offer.

Re: DDK Grille Badges - new batch just manufactured
Installation advice (thanks go to James, hot66 & Helen): Please be careful when fitting them, don't keep winding in the threaded bar so it pushes against the back of the badge causing the mounts to snap off. Try locking the threaded bar into the badge first, then just tighten up using the supplied nuts (without the threaded bar turning). You may need to add a washer. Finger tight will probably suffice to secure the badge to the grille. If you over tighten with a spanner it’s possible to break them (or bend your grille). We know you’re strong, but try care and sensitivity when affixing your badge. You may also wish to consider putting something between the back of the badge and the grill to stop any marks being left on your grill when the badge is removed.

Thanks for mentioning it Paul.
So anybody on the naughty step who isn't a paid up member please feel the relevant level of shame if you're ordering a badge and do the honourable thing!
