Does anyone remember / recognise this old car ?

I have just acquired this old race car , and I was wondering if any of the DDK racers know anything about it ?

Apparently it has been in storage for over 20 years , having lost it's oil cooler on it's last outing , resulting in a catastrophic engine failure

There are a few engine parts that came with the car - including a very large intercooler , which I guess is the reason for the raised rear screen - 2.0 RSR style.

Unfortunately the rear spoiler and gearbox were apparently stolen at some time while in storage.

I would be very interested if anyone can shed any light on it's history .

This may be a shot in the dark, but the tel no prefix 0639 was Neath Port Talbot no. (now 01639).
01639 822771 is the tel no. for a convenience store on Mayberry Rd, and looking on street view there looks to be a lockup directly next door to the store with a roller shutter door on the front - possibly a disused garage ?

There is also a company still trading in Bristol area called Porschtech

Just a thought - maybe miles off though but you never know......

Porschtech don't appear to be in operation any more , but I think I've tracked down a couple of places where their ex- staff are now , so I've sent emails and see what comes back.
