2013 DDK EURO - THE POB TOUR - 12th -16th July 2013
The basic outline is detailed below. The thing I'm trying to add in is a visit to
DDK European Tour 2013
Thurs 11th : arrive Hull no later than 7pm. Get ferry to Rotterdam
Friday 12th : Arrive at Rotterdam Friday morning from overnight crossing.
EDIT : Travel from Rotterdam to our overnight accomodation. The route, although initially starting off on the motorways, will turn off onto a scenic drive , along which we will stop for lunch. We will follow the cross country route onto our overnight stop, possibly Baden Baden a spa town, where a dip in a hot spring is highly recommended!!

Saturday 13th : Saturday morning could be relaxing then lunch in Freudenstadt (1hr) to then drive The Schwarzwaldhochstrasse (the Black Forest High Road) , this is one of the best known scenic routes in Germany, stretching some 60km on the B500 highway, being between 600-1000mtrs above sea level. We will continue with a scenic route through the black forest heading on to Stuttgart for our overnight stop.

Sunday 14th : Sunday to be dedicated to the Porsche museum. A guided tour in the morning and lunch at the museums restaurant. Free afternoon around Stuttgart, evening meal at hotel or restaurant. ( Or Merc museum in the afternoon )

Monday 15th :
Due to limited spaces available on the tours it would be good if the spaces were available for those who REALLY want to visit the factories, ... so bearing that in mind, for the partners coming along who might fancy an alternative activity rather than being dragged around a factory ... there will be an alternative excursion for those that might prefer something more relaxing / retail activity , etc
For the others :
Monday morning in Stuttgart & Porsche for a Factory Tour (these only run Mon-Thurs 10:00am) which will last approximately 1-2hrs and are free of charge.

Monday afternoon is a visit to
Monday night we will travel out of Stuttgart and head west to a hotel in the black forest.
Tuesday 16th .. Is the travel home day, either head straight to Calais for an early afternoon ferry , or tale a leisurely drive back to Rotterdam for the Tues night ferry ( arrive back in Hull 8 am Weds morning ) .
A few notes :
Both the Porsche Factory Tour is limited to the number of attendees.
If people want to travel via Calais, that will be an option too
