One of the initiators for Formula Vee racing in Europe was Porsche ...
Formula Vee racing is still the biggest racing class in the USA today. In september 2010 I got a chassis plan from a friend. George Jeffrey racing cars (GB) sold a chassisplan for a Formula Vee in the sixties. I got the plans from him but they were not complete.
So I build a replica JX Formula Vee 1300 single carburettor according the European 1966 regulations and iit is nearly finished. Meet my RJ-JX 065-001:

Can I ask where you got hold of the plans? Is the body off a Jeffrey too, or adapted from something else?

My pal has a Jeffrey J4 (Lotus 7 style car)

I only had a not complete nearly not readible plan of the top view of the chassis. Made everything myself including the body.
Old style "one off" body building. Made an wooden frame glued thin wooden hardboard strokes on it, plastered it, painted it, an put the glassfiber on it. After that cut the bodyparts and removed the inner mould.
