lmao
well it does say in add re new roof and rear wings needed......
it has had welding to the front in the usual places!!!!!!!! which will need to be removed.
so new tank support etc needed.
the bonnet has rust, but front wings may be salvagable
and it goes on.......

Ijust cant see how buying a car and then spending £25000 plus makes sense

Am I wrong???????????

So makes me feel good about my cars though.... :)

Looked at this car on Sunday and although it looks fairly unmolested it hasn't been used for a long time and is ROTTEN.

The guy selling was actually looking for seven thousand and was a bit concerned that the price was creeping too high - I don't think he's been particularly misleading with his description and if he gets the money then I say fair play to him!

Market seems crazy at the moment - I was hoping to find a doggy early car to turn into a hot rod at some point although at these prices I may have missed the boat :(

Glad I found my car when I did :)

When I didn't do mine, a certain AlanUK basically suggested that whatever I spent on it - and the resto costs would be the same for all models - "it would still be a T". So I figured it made no sense. I still hanker after the car and my heart says I did the wrong thing but.... (I lost a few quid selling the wreck, rather than lost a few more quid selling a fixed up T)

The eBay 912-6 (on the surface) looks a better bet at it's current bid.

Inspection dependant, of course.

This one from the Classic Car Club on Old Street?

But if you were going that road, I would thank Max's 912 may end up being a cheaper option/offer more flexibility
