The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
It has taken a few years but thing are looking up I,m building a exact copy of a Porsche 904.
Because we want to participate in FIA races we need a historical passport on the car therefore the car must be exactly the same as the original one in every way.
We just glued the body on the chassis so it doesn,t looks very tidy yet.
We took body moulds from a original 904 the same for the uprights , steering rack en gearbox and pedals , sorry I,m not from the UK but what do you mean with IVA ?
IVA=Individual Vehicle Approval - if you create a car from scratch or a kit in the UK you have to get it to allow it to be road-registered. They test that it passes all the necessary legalities to allow it to be driven on the UK roads.
Where in the world are you then?
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah
yes it,s going to be a 904/6 with a original 906 engine which where building right now.
The heads are from a 3.0L as example.
904/906 primairy shaft with separate 2e gears.
