Post by 356california »

As the title. Anybody know where and when the next VW/Porsche meet or festival is?
Really missed out on taking mine to dubfreeze.

Here you go Volk's World 26th & 27th of March Sandown Park Surrey. Don't know if I'll be going though it a bit of a trek from Nottm. The kit car show at Stoneleigh is at the beginning of May, Bank Holiday weekend, thats a good one!

Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Leicestershire is a very good show. Mainly VW but quite a splash of Porsche and a good vintage VW turnout too. Predominately aircooled but also watercooled stuff as well, early GTi's and Audi coupes, 944, etc, 356, buses, campers, 914s, allsorts.

Website doesn't appear to be up and running yet, but it's on the 1st of May. I've struggled to go in recent years but it's a well known, long running event and definitely one to visit if you've never been. For some reason the weather is almost always glorious too.

If you all go on www.speedsters.com they have a big page of events for 2011. Their website has been upgraded too!
