The little girl and the fireman

A fireman is polishing his fire engine outside the station when he notices a little girl in a little pedal 356 with ladders hung off the side and a garden hose tightly coiled on the bonnet. The little girl is wearing a little fireman's helmet and has her little 356 tied to a dog and a cat.
The fireman walks over to take a closer look. " That's a very nice little fire truck" the fireman says with admiration. "Thankyou" the little girl says. The fireman looks a little closer and notices the little girl has tied one leash to the dog's collar and the other leash to the cat's testicles. "Little lady" the fireman says. "I don't want to tell you how to run your fire engine but if you were to tie that leash around the cat's collar I think you'd probably go a lot faster."
The little girl pauses for a moment to think, looks at her little 356 looks at the dog and at the cat, then shyly looks up into the fireman's eyes and says, "You're probably right but then I would'nt have a siren, would I."
