This year the 914 International was hosted by the 914 Club Holland @ Hilversum , not far from Amsterdam weekend of 4 / 5 / 6 June .
There were something like sixty 914 's in attendance from all over Europe , including 12 from England .
Eight of us convoyed over on the Thursday a.m. , visitting Bruges en route and overnighting in Antwerp , before running up to the event in Hilversum ready for the Friday lunchtime start .
Boat cruise and social stuff on the Friday p.m. / evening , a couple of 120km tulip routes ( no pun intended) on the Saturday , pleasant Saturday evening posh grub and sampling the local beverages
, and a bit more driving on the Sunday a.m. before the farewell lunch at a Porsche dealership . Three of us blasted back to Calais Sunday afternoon ( most were extending their stay to the Monday , some longer ) and then push on home to Brum .
Very enjoyable !
