Original Prototipo

I am after an original Prototipo steering wheel for my 1968 912. I like the new versions but an old one with a few years on it would look better.

Does anybody know of a good source for these as they seem like gold dust. It must have the aluminium / steel spokes?

oops - just noticed you want silver spokes

still - black ones are much better looking- silver ones look wrong

I thought the aluminium centre would look better with aluminium dash my 1968 912 has. What do people reckon?

Silver can look very cool on the right interior

i still think it looks a bit MG.
maybe its more right on a non RS/lightweight car to have a bit of chrome to match the sliver trim on the car and interior.
maybe its more period to have black on anything RS/R ish.
I think I wouldnt like silver on anything Rennish.

all subjective - get what you like. ;o)
