356 Exhausts

Post by Winston Teague »

Am 1 month/1500 miles into my new daily driver, a '61 356B T5 and it's just blown a hole in the 4-2-1 side exit exhaust. The valance panel has no notches and there is no bumper, so stock is out of the question and probably unsuitable for the (allegedly) warmed up motor. Anyway I like the look and sound of what I have. Does anyone know whether a 912 system will fit, if I can get a replacement one over here and what the alternatives are? I'd also appreciate views on noise (I like quiet!) and performance results (I like power!) :?:

OK, I know I bang on about it, but you could try Turbo Thomas, he's in Redditch so not far from you. Works in stainless and will make a system to suit your requirement. He works on alot of Porsche exhaust and likes a challenge.
