new to air cooled from englandshire

Post by blackjock »

Hi am new to porsche after more years than seems possible in other proper cars....steer at one end and drive at the other...quote from Tony Fall Opel Rally team.
After 6months in a 924S with rather fetching Turquoise detail have purchased a 911T Rally/Endurance RS replica in Viper Green.
My future intention is some form of Historic Rallying but in the meantime want to learn its foibles and tricks on track etc
What do people think of the pre 74 day that porsche Club are running at Silverstone on 30th july.....
Any advice on best way to tame the beast gratefully received....

car is well known on the Endurance scene as campaigned succesfully by Ken MacEwan....also from god's country like myself doing missionary work with the natives of Englandshire....that should engender a response or five....

Will upload a jpeg or 2 when i take delivery.... :P

Hi & welcome

The pre74 trackday @ silverstone is going to be great fun. A lot of DDKers are booked in for it. Can't wait for the sights & sounds of all the early Porsches having fun on the track

Look forward to seeing photos of the car.

If you come from Gods own country, then you must be from North Yorkshire ;)
