Heyup - there's a good Northerners scene - we're mostly down towards Harrogate but some are nearer you :-)

What's wrong with the 14? Any pics :lol:

its a rolling shell at the moment incomplete but rot free got it from tom goodwin last year and have been chipping away at it when time allows , got rid of the rust that was there , repaired the rot in the door handle areas and have been collecting bits since .need a few parts like a windscreen in green tint a wireing harness and carpet set have been watching ebay usa as it seems the place to find parts , is that what everyone else does or do they have another source . will be posting some pics shortly to show progress might gee me up to brave the cold garage . my problem is i have never seen one working or driven one or met an owner yet must be mad eh starting to wonder myself so i was looking for some local suport and advice and a go in one

Sounds like you got a big job on your hands there Good luck :)

I've only owned my fourteen for 5 months, and up until I got mine had never met anyone who'd owned one either! Since then through DDK and the 914uk Yahoo group I've met some great people. Stick around and ask away there's a fantastic combined source of information here.

After a few months of ownership I managed park up alongside this lot!

Ebay US can be a good source, I've certainly aquired a few great bits from it. There are several places to try like Roger Bray, Mittlemotor etc. But it's alway worth asking here too.

Good luck, and do post some pics, we'll give you the kick up the back side you're after! :lol: :lol:

have met darren last year at his workshop got me very interested in a turbo motor lots of shiney bits and dusty bits in his workshop , need 20 mins unsupervised and a shopping trolley and i would be a happy man lots of good advice and very easy to talk to, plenty of good free advice
