Eventually!
I need an ECU, harness and the house to myself - Christmas should fix the latter ; the rest, who knows .
A handy soul that could make me some new linkages to fit the ITB's to the manifolds I've had ported might also be useful... Anybody good at small, detailed engineering tasks?

This has been an excellent thread so far and thanks for sharing it with us, must be nice to be able to enjoy the car now for a while before going ahead with the injectors, top stuff
Glenn, You're coming up next week aren't you? Or have plans changed?
As for being a competent passenger.... well
Ian, Glad things are coming together on the non MS front, you can nick my ignition map to start you off! As for the detail engineering... mine is all done via favours, mate with a lathe in his garage and a fully equiped automotive prototype engineering workshop....*cough*
I think I might need to come and have a chat with you...

The comedy shot ..
Running with no dizzy !
Fixed timing, but running on EDIS.
Wiring is nearly in place for the MS, Should have EDIS under MS control soon.
Cheers

.. and now under MS control. Even with a flat map the improvement over the Imp's worn out dizzy was striking. I pointed the timing light at the pulley and it is just dead steady. Now with a default spark map, with a little timing control, the torque is noticeably improved. With just 875cc, any improvement is appreciated
I now need to get a slightly newer Palm pilot for the tuning and logging and I'll be away. Sadly I discovered my old palm is just too old !
Really satisfying isn't it Gary

Excellent 'tis indeed most satisfying when it works. Apart from the little engine noise it's developed recently it drives SO much better under MS control, better bottom end, throttle response and top end. Smiles all round
So when are you going to start the fuel side Gary?

Winter project I think Ian. I was going to do it earlier, but think I'll just run the car until the worst of the weather kicks in then get cracking on it.
Unless Tims wants his carb back sooner of course
I've got all the bits now, fuel pump etc, first big job is to take the exhaust off to get the lambda boss welded in. This put me off starting!
Let's just say I should have the garage to myself shortly after Christmas .

I have just ordered some Ford EDIS to Porsche custom HT leads from Magnecore as my home brew set are to put it politely, shite!
The exhaust is coming off this weekend so I can get the lamda sensor installed then I'm going to hook up the temperature sensors before embarking on the fuel system installation in a couple of weeks!
