911's at Goodwood

Some photos from a marvellous time I had today at the Goodwood circuit.
I was delighted to accept a kind invitation from Robert Barrie to a event he'd organised with a large percentage of early 911's attending.

The number of people racing was modest so everyone got ample track time and a very good crowd they were too.

The noise limit was 105db.
I just crept in under the threshold.
I suspect that it might have been 106-ish (I tested at 105.5 at Castle Combe) but the guys at Goodwood were good as gold.
They do monitor you through the day on 'drive by' but the 911 can fare better with such a test.
The staff at the circuit were very understanding and helpful and everyone behaved very responsilbly.

Apologies are due from me, to the other drivers, for delaying things a few minutes while I was pulled from a gravel trap.

Aside from that incident it was great fun all day.
