Euro Blast this weekend.......!!!

Post by 912uk »

Thanks to Gavin and Stu a number of us had a great blast though the country roads and the Motorway of France which was empty!!!!! what a treat..

Image

The weather was very Kind to us and only rain when he got to Portsmouth on the way home...

I didn't take much pictures on Route to busy keeping up the revs and enjoying the fast roads and little traffic and the 2 speedcamera's in like 150miles of road.. and then they were both sign posted.....heaven..

Image

Parking in Le Touguet was well Fun NOT there was a Rally on and half the roads where shut but we found some where and had a great lunch.

Just what the Doctor Ordered a last min blast to France on some open roads and proper high reving driving cheap food beer and fuel and home again... what a FAB weekend!!!!!

just noticed I don't have many pic's too busy driving!!!!!!

Phil won the treasure hunt ( Gavin's Picture 912Register ) Prize was handed out by Frankie Gavin's Daughter .......WHO'S BIRTHDAY IT IS TODAY!!!!!! you would never have known

Gavin's car sporting a very tastefully done event sticker...

We had a great run back from Dover to the A3 Jct of the M25....

Look even my Jo is smiling I think she really does enjoy the Porsche events .......that's or she has given up trying not to like it....   we had a great meal and watched the rally cars go by even if I did end up going up a street the wrong way ( I knew I was I just got fed up of all the closed roads and I wanted to move over one block , the French Police lady was not amused and I protested all the roads were shut and I couldn't get out and she let me go......see act dumb all ways works  )

Roll on the next event......
