The event is HUGE but there's very rarely much in the way of Porsche stuff there.

It's not really a family day out - very little to do apart from rummaging - although the museum is OK for an hour if you haven't been there before...

From what I've seen of it, it's hopeless for Porsche bits, and what's there is top dollar. Quite a good day out though.

Better bet is Husbourne Crawley Porsche Autojumble in October: keep an eye for details here: there's a lot of stuff, plus many DDK'ers go as well.

Mark - I'll be there first thing Saturday morning.

I have usually been round everything (at least once) by midday.

We can arrange where/when to meet nearer the time.

I was going to try and make the Beaulieu auto jumble, but after the comments of lack of Porsche stuff I might opt for the Crawley Porsche swap meet if it is better?.
Any more info on this- directions etc. much appreciated.

Keep an eye out, Ken: a bit nearer the time there will be our usual bi-annual discussion about who's going, for what, when and where :) .

Just to give an idea though, it's only ten minutes from Junction 13 M1.

Who is coming along the M27 from Portsmouth can I follow I just found my battery DEAD AS A DO DO... i am charging it but tonight if it conked out I had to get a jump start from a set of leads ( which I have ) so I will leave it to charge up over night I think it will take a few days to get 100% fully charged ..... plus a decent run will help.... 45 mins from here to the event..

I got a load of PORSCHE stuff Cheers ANDY for helping to carry it all

I even got a Pre-A 356 Engine Lid for my 54.. so I now have a spare I can get some GT louvers grafted in COOL!!!!!! and for very sensible money !!!!!!

Andy the other snap on had gone when I went back  good job really......

Some great bargains but you had to look some great deals on consumables for resto works..

I got aload of sanding discs for only £5 which is about 14 off list..

I left about 6pm in the end after a little sleep in the car... due to the huge que to get out..

But the same rubbish for sale at over the top prices from one traders thinking they are going to get one over you...

I beat up 50's scalectric for £50 and I know you can get these all the time for £20..

A chopper bike old on for £500!!!!!!! and it was junk

A distler 356 cab when I asked how much he lifted it off the shelf looked underneath picked off a price ticket and handed to me and said £170!!!!!!! more liek you bought that for £50 at a boot sale and trying to rip me off.. I told him so..

The best one was this and I took a picture to show you because you would never believe me unless you saw it and I asked him and he was serious and I said i have a shed full of these you can have for a £10 each and buy them ALL day long for under £20......

puppet!!!

That is a Bosch 009 Disy for ..........

£78 and he said that was the best he could do it for was £75 I just laughted.
