I wanted to try to get this similar to the factory. We agreed 2K base coat and lacquer on the outside, but not shiny in the engine bay, the boot area, under wings and under the car, so this is being sprayed in cellulose.

With all these original sprays, it all depended on who sprayed them and how they were feeling on the day. So Paul, changed his name to Fritz for the day and here are some originals and what he did.

This is all sprayed in cellulose.

These are 2 original under floors

Looks like the factory bent down and painted the edge of the floor pans and the painted wafted into the middle.

I had some original paint still under the hood on mine and I could see the colour was constant, so I went for this.

and these were painted full paint.

The floor was covered in 3M sound deadening, and painted over in body colour. My floor paint was very original and was used as a reference to paint the black pieces. Again no car was ever the same, the factory guy who painted the black pieces on my car was exceptionally generous, which we tried to replicate.

And now for the 2K external paint.
