1969 911 engine

Post by 65deluxe »

Hi guys and girls
I have decided to concentrate on a few of my projects and try and get them done .
My 912 needs a load of work and it’s just not getting done at the moment .
So I’ve decided to sell my engine and use the money to get some other cars nearer completion .
So this is my 1969 carb six cylinder .
no 6/01 xxx on the fan support upright .
I did look before and I’m sure it’s an E or a T engine .
It’s complete except the pulley on the print of the fan .
Removed from a car on the road and in regular use but got removed as it was being built as a race car .
Gearbox is not included .
Any questions please email me jon@65deluxe.com
Pictures I have are too big for forum but will be on Facebook groups as well .
£8750
Regards Jon

Why not post the engine serial & type nos ?

The pictures of your engine on Facebook show that it's fitted with a fan shroud & Zenith carbs from a 2.2T ...

Hi Andy .
Sorry I wasn’t trying to be awkward in any way .
Engine number is *6/01382*
I’ve had it for years and genuinely couldn’t remember the type . But if you have looked and it’s a 2.2 E then that makes perfect sense .
It’s fitted with a fan shroud but the small pulley at the front of the fan is missing - that’s why I posted that picture .

Appreciate it’s a lazy advert as I’ve only really thought about selling today and thought I’d advertise before I changed my mind .
If I can be any help please just let me know

As I said above, fan shroud & Zenith carbs suggested a 2.2T.

Engine serial number beginning 610 confirms it as a 1970 2.2T engine (possibly built late '69) ...
