Tools / things and ideas that may be useful?

Post by Nine One One »

Sometimes when reading threads, some really good ideas for ‘work arounds’ are posted, then you have to search like mad to find them again unless you bookmark the subject. Likewise members have tools that come in useful for a multitude of tasks.

With the advent of Ali Express and Temu, there are often some decent margins to be had. Over the years I have bought a number of Parkside battery operated tools and equipment, that have been up to the job, plus with a 3 year warranty have never had an issue returning one if it ever went wrong.

Simple things like this 31 piece socket set.......https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/parkside-socke ... /p10040086

The exact same Wurth equivalent is around £70.

Seen them before in Europe, and now over here, where you can use Torx bits and sockets. The good bit, I like is the through socket hole, so if you have a nut on a long thread, you are not trying to search for a long reach socket. Plus it is small and will fit in tight spots?

Decent idea for a thread?
