Thats what I thought, and also the rear offside by the torsion tube hole looks like its been hit with a hammer?

Agree - it’s a shame as I like the look of it, would just be worried about what is lurking underneath the new paint

It's been for sale both privately & then with another dealer for some time.

I think the current photos taken by O'Kane Lavers make the lower half of the car look dodgy due to reflections - earlier photos when it was for sale in the US & when it appeared on Car & Classic earlier this year looked much better ...

i usually like patina, but somehow feel that would look better painted to match the lovely original paint inside

Agreed. Subject to inspection I'd buy that (TF history plus it's Tangerine!)
