>> DDK 25/26 Subs Due and an exciting new membership pack<<

Post by Bootsy »

It’s August! You know what that means.

As is tradition, DDK subs fall due on September 1st.

IMPORTANT: Membership subs are voluntary, not compulsory. They give you access to the members-only section (which we plan to use more for events etc. over the coming year), but more importantly, they help keep the forum running smoothly and cover the ever-increasing maintenance and hosting costs.

This year has seen maintenance and hosting costs rise considerably—hasn’t everything! Forum traffic is at an all-time high, and fighting off bots and AI scraping has become a constant battle in terms of time, tools, and resources.

I hope you still feel the forum is at the heart of our community. We also have very active social channels and WhatsApp groups, which will continue as always.

If you decide paying subs isn’t for you, please feel free to continue using the forum. If you do choose to send your subs, thank you—it really is appreciated.

About the packs:

Last year we had the option of renewing subs with or without a key ring, but it caused a bit of confusion. So, in a slight break from tradition, I’m simplifying things this year with one option for everyone.

IMPORTANT: I believe I’m up to date with membership packs. If you haven’t received yours—and you’ve submitted a form and paid your dues—but haven’t got your welcome letter, membership card, and sticker, please PM me. I’ll process any requests and make sure you receive both last year’s and this year’s new sticker. Your membership will then run until September 2026.

If you’ve recently paid your subs or received a pack, don’t worry—your membership also runs until September 2026. But if you’d like one of the new member packs, feel free to follow the instructions below.

If you can’t access the members’ area and believe you should, please PM me and I’ll sort it out immediately.

So (listen carefully)...

The new pack includes:

- An official DDK 2025/26 Members sticker with a Rubystone border to mark this year

- A LED key ring (batteries supplied!) featuring our newly adopted tag line

- A DDK air freshener, produced on plastic with a signature (and very nice!) scent

The price for all of this, plus continued subscription to DDK until September 2026, is £20.

How to pay:

Send £20 via PayPal Friends & Family to: postmaster@ddk-online.com
(Please state your forum username in the comments)

Also, send an SAE (self-addressed envelope) so I can post your pack to:

DDK
c/o Lavender House
3 Eastleigh Gardens
Barford
Norfolk
NR9 4BW

If you’d like additional key rings or air fresheners, please PM me.

Any questions? Just drop me a PM.

Your support is really appreciated and never taken for granted.

P.S. Thank you!

Thomas,
Like a complete dick I sent £20 to you rather than the PayPay address you gave in your message.

Just sent some money Thomas. Could not see 'friends and family' so sent a bit more to cover cost.
If not enough please let me know and I'll send more!

Also, no key fob etc for me, got lots of them!
