type 1, which i ran on the drag strip but never sussefully....so i thought i`d do something about it....its sat in my garage for too long...the cars goig through a full resto over the next couple of months....i thought id share it with you so far...sat outside turbo thomas`s...alongside his 912

you can just see the late 915 gearbox.....fitted with a slight bit of encouragement
matty walker and richie thomas deciding where to place the turbo
tailpipe and turbo....with 911turbo style wastegate pipe
header system fabricated
there`s a whole load more being sorted with the car at the moment, like intercooler, fuel injection, engine re-build and resto-respray.....if you guys are interested i`ll keep you updated
