912 in UK wanted
Hello all,
Not sure if this is allowed.
Is anyone in the UK thinking of selling their 912. I don't mind LHD (or RHD).
Budget depends on the car.
Looking for a car that I can just get in and drive, I don't mind some fettling (its an old car after all!)
thank you

Max at Revival is your man...........
He has a silver 912 in at the moment for £29,995 which needs some welding, and I dare say he would actually do that as well for the right price?

That seems good value, although I don't mind spending more to find a car that's ready to go

Speak to Max - the man with his finger to the ground when it comes to 912 out there. There’s also a couple at Rindt available currently

Re: 912 in UK wanted
I'm just coming to the end of a rebuild of a 1969 LHD 912... It has a Benton Stg1 1720 engine (zero miles currently, awaiting Dyno'ing according to John, this engine should make around 125-130 Brake) Alternator conversion, 1-2-3 Dizzy (with vacuum and programmable curve) carbs rebuilt with Tim Bertidelli choke/Bellmouth conversion (inside std airboxes) Engine also fitted with Pre-Mat sump pan, Remote Oil filter conversion and Pre-mat push-rod tubes, Lightweight early rear engine mount bar, 5sp custom ratio gearbox with Quaife LSD (new bearings, gears, crownwheel pinnion etc), 911 front gearbox mount, 911 Shortshift kit (benton Performance), Wevo shifter linkage, Full suspension rebuild with Elephant Racing parts (too many to list here, but has both front and rear rollbars, adjustable spring plates etc etc etc)... Bilstein suspension, 911 SC rear alloy arms, 911 SC vented disk conversion, alloy front calipers, Rebuilt pedal box, Braided brakelines... Alloy rear deck lid, over-riders and rear engine panel along with lightweight rear tail lights (plastic instead of alloy).... (original parts available with the car)
I bought the car during lockdown as it was supposedly 'turn key'.... turns out it was a mess... so a two year full rebuild later, and its nearly done.... All the little jobs like sorting the heater controls (new fan, controller, cables and pipework)... Rebuilt sterring coloum with low friction bearings, Turbo track-rod conversion with bump steering correctionkit (Elephant racing again)... The list goes on and on....
DM me if you'd be interested.....
Kind Regards
Tim
