Did abit of an undercarriage spring clean on the 964...
Got carried away and removed the shifter linkages, replaced bushings (amazed how loose the coupler was!). Drive tomorrow, looking forward to feeling the improvements ...
Now Ducks backside tight spec...

So … having had a few runs out with these bulbs I’m now of the opinion they are too bright as tail lights ( theyre brake light bright ) and the difference between tail light and brake light isn’t big enough .
I’m going to keep them in for a while longer and do some trips with others following me and see what they say.
Anyone know of led bulbs that are maybe less bright as a tail light but much brighter as a brake ?
i have these on Jaffa 911 James- complete LED boards not bulbs, really excellent IMO - and clearly different/brighter for braking.
Can be round or square pattern- expensive but good IMO.
I also have them on 914 https://www.spokeworksled.com/product-p ... ed-pattern

In contrast to that, we had a cracking day at Prescott hillclimb, 2nd in class on both runs in the dry, just 1.5 secs behind a mighty Norma M20 with a turbo 3 litre Honda Vtec, a fabulous car.
Monsoon rain exactly as the meeting finished....
