Classic Porsche
I've just renewed my subscription to Classic Porsche but I didn't renew my subscription to 911 and Porsche World. With regard to the latter I'm honestly not interested reading about water cooled stuff especially the transaxle machines and definitely not about milk floats. In comparison with Octane, which is my favourite car mag, the Porsche mag reporters give the feeling like oh it's Tuesday so I have to get some words down on Jaguars and if it's Wednesday then it's on to Porsche stuff. Their keyboards don't project a great deal of soul in my opinion.
Any way I'm locked in on a direct debit via PCGB so they've got me until I get that 300SL and decide to change ships.

Re: Classic Porsche
My Classic Porsche mag came today, nice issue, not quite my preferred balance, it last one was.
Storyline is now weak.
Best red ever today imho is Octane, never dissapointed.
Love Car magazine for keeping up with the kids, love the milk float expression!
Haven't had EVO for years, been a PCGB member for 34 years.

Re: Classic Porsche
My subscription renewal sat beside my computer for about a month, as I couldn’t make up my mind.
Then my last issue arrived with the article on Carrera 3.0, and all the photos of a late 80’s Carrera 3.2, and the decision was made.

I wrote a response expressing my feelings, deleted it, wrote another and deleted that. Maybe some things are best unsaid. Or not. I really don't know. I made mistakes in my time but, like JW, seeing a whole feature illustrated with photos of a totally different car... That kinda took the biscuit.
Re: Classic Porsche
I got my hands on an early copy of Road Rat. The one with George Harrison on the cover. Very much enjoyed the articles - broad focus but excellent. I didn't think I would be interested in reading about PAG, but the writer managed to weave together an excellent article.
