Ratty Range Rover

Another slightly unwise purchase, but this one cost less than a pair of wheels (7Rs, admittedly) for the orange car...
Per kg, that's good value.

Exterior: perhaps the rattiest Range Rover I have ever seen....






... and the interior is a little bit worse than that!





Pisstake away, to your hearts' content. I've always wanted a 3-door Rangie. And if nothing else, it will suitably embarrass my teenagers in the school car park (where approx half the cars are Range Rovers, but I think mine will still be distinctive )

Also I am married to a doctor. A psychiatrist, specifically. Hence the need to spend a lot of time in the garage.

Jonny - it does smell a bit odd. Previously the property of a Spanish farmer, so probably Chorizo under one of the seats.

LOVE IT! I had a classic and it's been one of my favourite cars ever. Not as unreliable as expected and bags of character. It's used as a shed now but I'll restore it one day. Maybe.

Well at least it appears it was used for its intended purpose.Not just a "Chelsea Tractor" Earlier in week during that huge downfall, I was trying to navigate a country lane.As I turned a corner hit a flooded road.When I say flooded.Not as in Noah & Ark type flood.Just a few inches, running across the road.A RR was sitting there obviously debating whether its huge wheels and clearance would manage to survive the impending hazard.I was tempted to get it a nudge with the transit at one point.

Exactly. I've done rusty... ratty is cheaper. Hopefully!

Thanks all. More to follow when I take delivery. It's nearby, so I've poked it and driven it and it has an MoT, but completion of the deal is contingent on DVLA getting around to issuing a UK reg.

I found some original seats and a very decent older 4-spoke steering wheel on eBay. Have swapped those in, done a few tidying jobs, and spent quite a few hours cleaning things. I think the interior is looking slightly less hideous:
