Now sold

Obviously this won't be to everyone's taste I know!
Long story short, I went to pick up some alloy wheels today and stumbled upon an amazing car for sale, if I've got any chance of buying it I need to sell a few bits to free up space and money!

On to the car, I bought this fairly recently from the well respected Type2 Detectives (It was one of the owners personal car), as far as I understand the build will be covered in Mark Walkers (patinavw.com) next book on Patina Volkswagens.

Brief spec;
30+ years of quality Texan sun bleached patina!
Body off, complete pan resto with 2” narrow beam.
Bilstein shocks all round.
CSP front discs.
New rear brakes.
Original engine rebuilt to 1380cc (only done 175 miles, will need a service at 500)
Vintage Speed stainless steel exhaust.
Gene Berg shifter.
Flat4 Speedwell style steering wheel.
5” front and 6” rear crackle black finish wheels.
New Bridgestone tyres all round.
Porsche 914 seats, door cards trimmed to match in Singer Porsche style.
Running the original bumpers but crackle black T-bars included.

I paid £15,500 for it but I'm asking £13,995. Would consider an interesting px, 914 etc.

*The GB sign is only magnetic.
It's not stupidly low and drives really nice due to the suspension set up which I understand is custom made by Bilstein for Type2 Detectives.
