356C Horn and Headlight Relay 12 volt

Post by Layercake »

I have placed a wanted add for horn and headlight relays in 12 volt for my 356C.

If anyone has one they would like to sell or has a lead towards any I would be interested.

Many Thanks.

What is the difference between the 356 headlight relay and a regular 12v/30w relay you can buy for a few quid online? Would that work?

Eric wants 12v Period Units with the correct Fixing Centres and Bullet connectors

They were only fitted to:-
Pushrod Cars specially ordered as 12v (about 1 in a 2,000)
356 Carreras after 1959
Possibly early 904 -?

They are a little thin on the ground

Exactly Mike, looking for relays that fit the original bracket and don’t have to be drilled.

Bullet connectors instead of spade as per the original wiring loom.

Do not know if this will be any good, whereby you could order the plug that fits your socket, and then wire in a conventional relay at the other end so you do not have the same problem trying to source the old ones?

Failing that this seller on Ebay Germany seems to get hold of old stock relays
