It’s an extremely solid 1963 cabriolet, originally Yukon yellow with an olive roof. (All still there under the black paint, and faded roof)
Last of the small rear window verts, and special ordered in that colour.
Inner arches, underbonnet and decklid all still original colour with no underseal and no rust, and nothing hidden. Floor pans and heater channels are all solid. There is one tiny bit of rust on one of the jacking points that I’ve pictured, but that’s all I can find.
Comes complete with all the hard to find cabriolet only parts, including folding rear view mirror, winders, handles and all the roof clips.
All windows and frames are there just not pictured.
It was running and driving with a later engine and gearbox, I’ve since found a date correct 1200 that I have started a top end rebuild on, including a replacement cylinder head (other is good) and new barrels and pistons (not yet fitted)
Have the correct wide five rear drums.
Dont let the black paint put you off... I Started to strip back the black to the original yellow and it all appears to be there after a few hours work, so if you like original paint, it’s all under there.
Correct interior is there, unfortunately the seats have also been painted black over the original lime vinyl.
Easy project to get back on the road for summer, or the perfect candidate for an easy resto.

I’ll put a guide price of £12000 which if you know your VW cabriolets is a great deal for a solid complete car, but will do a deal for a quick sale, to save me on storage costs.
