Great bit of machining, but I would be nervous of some of those overhangs machining without a steady.

Myford is a great little lathe, miss mine from work.
I hope they have a lot of customers from this display of skills. :)

I love these guys but the flexishaft thing is absurd. If they’d have just done a bit of Googling they’d Have discovered that there are most excellent electric AC kits available ;) Then, they could have run a
alternator from the crank pulley.

I know this is all about the machining and fabrication skills but this is plain silly.

Its been a great advert for them, the tool sponsorship, mercandise, Paetreon money. This is a great illustration of what they do and are capable of and it sure beats a photo on Instagram, magazine or in a show to show what they do. Once it is finished they could move onto the ramp truck or tow vehicle and keep on evolving their card board aided design process.
They are on their 5th Kettle though

It’s still in progress - think they will be going to paint soon, unless they have to make some more brackets
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

The 12 year build of this mini is reaching the conclusion, I suspect maybe only one or two more episodes to go, so should be completed by the end of the decade!

Latest episode can be found here

The series has certainly moved on from metal work to custom PC boards, CAD, and 3D printing!

Years ago I thought they had finished this car.
Absence from the YouTube search engine now shows new work.
It is a fantastic story by 2 talented people.
