Great run Paul, wish I could have made it to the last event at my favorite hill.
As ever all the good lines and I feel better seeing that even you pause in the kink up Cedar Straight...
How will you go quicker next year?
A question for all of us.

Glad you have enjoyed it.
Yes always a pause through ceder, how to go quicker next year, well thats a hard one, first of all find away to do ceder flat with better suspension, but the car will then suffer in all the wigly bits, and the top corner will be a real problem if i go any faster throught it,may not even get to fallow!

Ha!
It is a great testing hill.
I used to go 'flat' up Cedar in my Impreza (in the bone dry), but certainly not in the Lola.
Roger Moran once took me up Loton in his tarmac 911 rally car flat out, utterly amazing, during a Loton Drivers' school day.
He used both feet to brake for Fallow and made it round....
Quite an experience.

Well for me in my circuit racing, I've not had a very good time since I broke my wrist August last year (and out again for a further op this summer). We put in loads of mods over the winter to stiffen the chassis, slightly stiffen the springs (up 50lb front and rear), change the rear suspension geo and have a bonza new motor built. Net result, pretty much 0.5-0.8 seconds slower everywhere, doh. Going back to last year's softer settings for the last meeting of the year in a couple of weeks.911hillclimber wrote: How will you go quicker next year?
A question for all of us.
The question is whether it's me and my dodgy wrist or lower grip with the car too stiff?
Congrats on the win by the way Paul!

Graham:
suggest a call top Sean at McClurg Motorsport (down Bedworth way) for a car set-up.
He is used to the Old Skool cars and has done a lot of FF's etc.
He races in the Masters in a Chevron B6/Lotus Elan etc and did the Lola which is a dream balanced car.
I set it up with him at Curbough sprint track on a private day to get the dampers working right, a revelation.
Just a thought.
