Ferry Man’s Pre-Ferry BBQ (CLM - Portsmouth/Caen crossing)

Post by Ferry Man »

Yes, of course, it's on again. :)
If anyone would like to join their DDK colleagues before embarking on the Portsmouth-Caen overnight ferry crossing then kindly consider starting your evening a little earlier on Wednesday 4th July.
I'm hosting a 2018 Classic Le Mans BBQ at my house. You are all cordially invited.

It's a straighforward drive down the A3 to Portsmouth and we'll set out in good time to ensure we are all at the docks well ahead of departure
Even those not travelling with us – but local – are welcome to come to the BBQ and enjoy the fabulous weather and grub. You can wave us off.

If you’re interested in attending kindly PM or text me and I’ll let you know the address details and instructions how to find the party venue. I live on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey.
My mobile: 07813 791650.
Kindly keep this content within the Members Section but do feel free to invite anyone else of good character who might not have access to the members area of the forum. If they are travelling on that ferry crossing, they are welcome to join us.

See you then. Paul.

Did you mention that you're vegan, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, nut allergy and food allergy.

That's a shame – I'm on the Plymouth-Roscoff ferry Wednesday night. I could have driven 220 miles up to you for the BBQ, 200 miles back to Plymouth and then seen you at Le Mans. :drunken:
Have fun!

Doubt it. Anyway, you'd only drink it, and what good would that do you?

Looking forward to it. Staying in North Wales on the Tuesday night, then up for an early start wed morning down through Wales and onto Farnham avoiding all motorways hopefully.

Hi Paul,

I've only just registered this post, so many thanks for the invitation but I won't be able to join you. No doubt I will still be running round like a headless chicken tomorrow evening clearing my desk, sorting family etc ready for my trip Friday am. Have a great evening and ferry crossing and hope to see you over there
